The EU has become so much part of our daily life through searching for solutions to climate change, the energy crisis and migration as well as discussions on how to increase our security and defence capabilities in the face of the war in Ukraine for example. It is time that we get our young members of society talking about it and Ireland’s place in it!

Beyond developing active European citizens, this programme also focuses on providing helpful teaching slides, activities, links, and resources which are connected to the Learning objectives of the Curriculum for the Junior Cycle and the Senior Cycle.

At Transition Year level, we offer hands-on activities aimed at developing critical thinking among 16 year olds on issues that affect them and involve a reflection on Ireland and its role in the EU.
